Host Your Occasion

Plantry lends itself beautifully to professional or playful celebrations. Whether you’re hosting a fundraiser, celebrating a birthday, or reserving the space for a bridal suite or cocktail reception, Plantry provides the perfect blend of elegance and ease.

Private room reservations can be tailored with menu selections and decor to reflect your occasion. The tea room accommodates 16-20 guests in a half-room setting or 40-50 guests with the full room reserved. A wall-mounted projector is available for full space rentals, while a mobile 4’ x 6’ projector can be provided for smaller groups needing presentations, photo collages, or special announcements.

Our front dining room seats 50, with an additional 16 bar seats, and 4 small patio tables. Altogether, the venue comfortably hosts up to 110 guests for seated dining – or 125 for a more flowing, cocktail-style arrangement.

Plantry is available during standard hours, or after hours for private events. Whatever the occasion, the space is designed to invite conversation, celebration, and a touch of indulgence.

🎻 The Original Magnolia Quartet

Christy Lee Gandy — First Violinist
Alongside her work as a RN at Our Lady of the Lake, Christy continues to refine her artistry as first violinist, carrying her passion for music into every performance. She is also a member of a band, The Cupcake Strippers.

Danis Salassi — Second Violinist
A dedicated Suzuki teacher, Danis maintains a private violin studio while building vibrant programs at several local schools, nurturing the next generation of musicians.

Raudol Palacios — Cellist
As artistic director of Palacios House of Arts, Raudol brings creativity and depth to the Quartet. He performs with the LSU Symphony, collaborates with ensembles through the LSU School of Music, and produces original works with his band My Favorite Friend.

Steve Gustafson — Pianist
In addition to serving as organist at First Presbyterian Church, Steve is proprietor of Gustafson Piano, specializing in tuning, repair, and appraisals. A versatile performer, he appears both as a soloist and in ensembles across Baton Rouge.
